i had the pleasure of doing a maternity photo shoot for my sister-in-law just a few short days before my niece was born. i had such a fun time! it's the first maternity session i've had the opportunity to do and i so look forward to more of them.

my handsome nephew was such a sport and jumped in for a few last minute shots which i ended up LOVING!

five years old

my first baby boy turned five this summer. i feel old and young all at once with this boy. he is happy as can be in his favorite dinosaur jammies with his long, unkempt summer morning hair. i will miss him next month when kindergarten begins! what's a mother to do?
